Sarva Mangala Devi Temple is located at
Garbeta in
Midnapore District of
West Bengal. Built in the 16th century, the temple is dedicated to Goddess
Durga. The doors of this temple face north. It is believed that the idol of the temple was brought here by a wise sage. A dark tunnel of 30 cubits leads to the inner sanctum. The place is entirely dark even in noon and can be approached only with the help of the priests. Chandrakona Road Railway Station is nearby.
