Mecheda

Mecheda lies to the north of Tamluk, in Midnapore District of West Bengal. Raghunathbari is south-west while Panskura is to the north-west. State Highway No 4 (SH4) connects Mecheda and Haldia.

Rakshit Bari, Bargabhima Temple and Krishnarjun Temple are attractions around. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Mecheda Railway Station are the nearest airport and railway station.
