Masagram




Masagram, located near the banks of the Damodar River, is in Bardhaman District of West Bengal. It is around 7 km south of Palsit and 12 km from Saktigarh. To the north-east is Memari, a taluk headquarters town of the district. Jaugram, Jamalpur and Sehara are the towns nearby.

The familiar tourist spots accessible from here are Tomb of Khwaja Anwar (the famous Mughal Warrior), Kamalakanta Kalibari, a temple devoted to Goddess Kali, Tomb of Sher Afghan, Krishnasagar Ecological Park, Bardhman Science Centre, Golapbag Bagh, Rarheswar Temple, Curzon Gate, Bagnapara Vaishnav Center, Dhatrigram, famous for its Jammdani Sarees, Kalna and Samudra Garh.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Barddhaman Junction Railway Station are the nearest access points.
