Tantipara Masjid

Tantipara Masjid at Gaur is believed to have been built during the reign of Yusuf Shah, in the year 1480. Although the central pillars are in ruins, the mihrab (a recess in the masjid that indicates the direction in which the person is to offer prayers) on the wall is preserved, and attracts many devotees. Tantipara Masjid is famous for its architecture and decorative patterns.
