Nandikeshwari Temple




Nandikeshwari Temple is situated near the Sainthia Railway Station in Birbhum District, which is 179 km away from Howrah. It was established in 1903 with the goddess Nandikeshwari, another name for Parvati, as the presiding deity. Along with the main deity, there are the deities of gods and goddesses. Sainthia's old name was Nandipur. Annually a festival is observed here during the autumn season, which attracts a large number of devotees.
