Barabani

Barabani, a taluk headquarters town in Bardhaman District, is located near Asansol, West Bengal. It is around 43 km north-west of Durgapur and 18 km east of Kulti. Salanpur in the west, Panuria and Domahani in the north, Charanpur in the east, Jaykaynagar and Majiyara in the south are the towns nearby.

Kalyaneshwari Temple, Mithon Dam, Barakar Temples and Vishnu Temple are interesting sites to visit.

Asansol Junction Railway Station is the closest railway station.
