Kasinagar is located to the east of Kulpi, in South 24 Parganas District of West Bengal. Mathurapur, a taluk headquarters of the district, is nearly 3 km to its north-west.

Neighboring attractions include Jaynagar, Kali Temple near Baharu, Basanti, Sajnakhali Bird Sanctuary, Canning, Kultali - largest island in the Sunderbans - and Gosaba.
