Jorebunglow

Jorebunglow is a charming town, some times a crowded, situated at an altitude of 2520 m above the sea level, between Sonada and Ghoom railway stations, in Darjeeling District, West Bengal.

All the traffic in and out of Darjeeling passes through Jorebunglow and hence the vehicular movement in its narrow roads some times comes to a stand still; even the toy train is no exception when it comes to this ordeal. Jorebunglow is just 5 km away from Tiger Hill and is about 12 km from Darjeeling.

Glenburn Tea Estate, Teesta Village, Senchal Wildlife Sanctuary and Ghoom are other spots worth visiting in the vicinity.

Civil Enclave Bagdogra (Bagdogra Airport) serves Jorebunglow. Siliguri Junction Railway Station is the nearest major railhead.
