Kangsabati River

Kasai River



The Kangsabati river, also known as the Kasai River, is the third largest river in Bankura District. Originating from the hilly terrain of Jhalda block in Purulia District, the river flows through Khatra block for a distance of 50 km. Through the south-eastern corner, Kangsabati river enters Midnapore District. A dam has been built over the river, which attracts many tourists.
