Lalbagh town is situated in
Murshidabad District, about 12 km from the district headquarters Berhampore. The main tourist attractions include the
Hazarduari Palace, Motijheel or Pearl Lake and a fort built in 16th century. Here a festival called
Bera Utsav is celebrated every year during the Bengali month of Bhadra (mid of September).
