Ilam Bazar




Ilam Bazar is a taluk headquarters town of Birbhum District of West Bengal. It is situated around 14 km south of Sriniketan and 29 km from the town of Durgapur. Kenduli, famous for Kenduli Mela is about 10 km to the west. Chinpai and Purandarpur in the north, Panduk in the east and Basudha in the south are the surrounding places. Major point of attraction here is the Temple of Gouranga. Bolpur Shantiniketan Railway Station and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport serve Illam Bazar.
