Krishnarjun Temple




Krishnarjun Temple is situated at Tamluk in Midnapore District. Built by the king of Tamluk, this Vaishnavite temple lies on the banks of the Rupnarayan river. Once this temple was washed away in the floods of the river and the image alone remained. The present temple dates back over 400 years.

Tamluk can be reached by rail or bus from Howrah.
