Guptipara




Guptipara is a large village in Thana Balagarh, which lies on the north-eastern part of Hooghly District. It was a very famous place during the 18th century.

There are a group of four temples situated at the eastern side of the village, namely Brindabanchandra Temple, Chaitanyadev Temple, Krishna Chandra Temple and Ramachandra Temple. This place is also noted for a community puja, called Barwari puja.
