Raiganj




Raiganj, the headquarters of the North Dinajpur District, is situated on the banks of the river Kulik. As a municipal town, it is one of the major trade centers in North Bengal on National Highway 34. The town is dotted with rice mills. Raiganj Bird Sanctuary attracts thousands of tourists every year between October and March. Raiganj is connected by road with English Bazar.
