Padmavati Kund

Padmavati Kund, also known as Padmavati Pushkarini, is a bathing ghat located behind the house of Lord Nityananda in Ekachakra. It is named after Srimati Padmavati Devi, the mother of Nityananda Prabhu. It is said that the kund was dug by Lord Nityananda’s grandfather for his daughter. There are separate ghats for brahmins, kshatriyas and vaishyas. Ekachakra is connected by roads as well as by rail. The nearest railheads are Mallarapur rail station and Rampurhaat rail station.
