Dainhat




Dainhat is in Bardhaman District of West Bengal, about 13 km east of Sri Khanda. The town lies near the western banks of the Hooghly River. Katwa, Patuli, Karajgram and Nakasipara are the nearby places.

Dainhat has a number of temples which were constructed during the reign of Tilakchand, a king of Bardhaman. Other places of tourist interest around the town are Jajigram, Mangalkot and Purbasthali.

The nearest airport and railway station are Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Dainhat Railway Station respectively.
