Bansberia




Located 47 km north of Kolkata, Bansberia was the old port town of ancient Saptagram. Hanseswari Temple and Vasudeva Temple are the important attractions.

Bandel, a historic place, is only 4 km south of Bansberia. Bansberia railway station is on the Bandel - Katwa section. G.T Road ( National Highway 2) starts from Howrah and passes through Bansberia.
