Babnan

Babnan is located in Hooghly District of West Bengal and is about 4 km south of Haripur. It has been a traditional center of the Chikan Embroidery for long time.

Surrounding places are Bajitpur to the west; Jampur, to the north; Badinan, to the east and Beraberi to the south.

Bandel Church, Tarakeshwar Temple, Nandadulal Mandir, Chandannagar, Arambagh, Dhaniakhali, Imambara, Shandeswara Temple, Yeats Tomb, Mahisasurmardini Temple, Chinsurah, Bansberia and Bandemataram House are the tourist spots to visit.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport and Chinsurah Railway Station serve this region.
