Arambagh is a taluk headquarters town in Hooghly District of West Bengal. It is situated about 41 km south of Bardhaman. Hajipur to the west, Uchalan to the north, Champadanga to the east and Gaurhati to the south are the surrounding places.
A large number of Dharmathakur images in tortoise's shape are found in Arambagh.
