Sonprayag




Lying at the confluence of the Soneganga and Mandakini rivers, Sonprayag is a beautiful village in Rudraprayag District of Uttaranchal. It is situated at an altitude of around 6000 ft above sea level and is noted for its scenic beauty. The state highway connecting Rishikesh and Gaurikund pass through this village.

The place is surrounded by cities and villages such as Trijugi Narayan, Gauri Kund, Ransi, Raun, Kalimath and Phata. The road to Trijugi Narayan diverts from here. The Mandakini River flows nearby.

By road, Sonprayag is well connected with Ukhimath and Rudraprayag. Rishikesh Railway Station is the nearest major railway station. Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport.
