Haldwani




Haldwani in Nainital is one of the biggest towns of Uttaranchal. The city is named after a tree called ‘Haldu’. The temple of Attariya is very famous here. The first settlement of British, Gaura Padav is near this town.

Haldwani is 40 km from Nainital. It is well connected by bus services from New Delhi from where UP Roadways and DTC buses ply around the clock. The railway station at this place is well linked with the railway stations at Kathgodam, Old Delhi and Lucknow.
