Rama is a small settlement in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. Located on the state highway between Purola and Gainchvan, the place is noted for its scenic beauty and calm atmosphere. The Rupin River flows very close to this town. Rama is bounded by cities and villages such as Jarmola, Nanal, Mori, Sarnaul and Sar. Rajgarhi and Purola are the nearest major towns.
