Tiprabamak Glacier

Tiprabamak is a six kilometer-long glacier of Hemganga (also known as Lakshman Ganga River) basin, situated in the Alaknanda catchments. It is the longest glacier in the basin. The melted water of the glacier emerges from a single ice cave at the snout of Tiprabamak. Ghangharia is the only place in the vicinity providing accommodation facilities. The best time to visit the glacier is from mid-June to mid-October.
