Lucknow Junction Railway Station




Situated towards the south-west of Lucknow city, Lucknow Junction Railway Station is an important railhead served by the Northern and North Eastern Railways. It is well connected with most of the cities and towns in the northern part of India. Gomti Express plies daily from Lucknow to New Delhi. The important trains passing through this station are Mumbai-Gorakhpur Express, Vaishali Express ( New Delhi- Barauni), Shatabdi Express, Gomti Express (New Delhi-Lucknow). A tourist information center is provided on the premises. Computerized reservation facility available.

Near the station is Hotel Kohinoor with all modern amenities to cater for the needs of visitors. Only a few meters from the station is the Charbagh Railway Station. Just 3 km from the station is Hazratganj, a place renowned for its shopping centers.

At the city center is Kaiserbagh bus station. For local travel, cycle-rickshaws and taxis are available in plenty. Going south, Kanpur is the main station, 79 km from Lucknow. The nearest airport is Amausi Airport, 14 km from the city center.
