Trishul Glacier

Trishul Glacier is located in the Rishi Ganga River catchment of Uttaranchal. The glacier has its origin from the southern slope of the Nanda Devi Peak. The Trishul Glacier is a large glacier in size and length. Many melted-water streams originate from this glacier and later it joins the Dhauli Ganga at Raini. Joshimath, a popular center of pilgrimage, is located near the glacier.
