Jankichatti




Jankichatti is a small settlement in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. Situated at an altitude of around 8,770 ft above sea level, the village is noted for its thermal springs. Jankichatti is just 5 km from Yamunotri and can be easily accessible from there. The trekking route connecting Hanumanchatti-Yamunotri passes nearby.

With its beautiful mountains and adventurous trekking routes, the village is an ideal place for tourists in search of fun and adventure. Lakshmi Narayan Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, is a major religious site in Jankichatti. Yamuna River flows through this village.
