Raktavarn Glacier

Raktavarn Glacier is located near Gangotri in Uttarkashi District of Uttaranchal. The glaciers Gangotri and Chaturangi lie adjacent to Raktavarn. This glacier feeds the main glacier to its right which in turn feeds the Ganges River. Tapovan and Nandanvan are nearby destinations. Raktavarn Glacier can be reached from Gaumukh.
