Devalgarh, also spelt Dewalgarh, is situated 19 km from Srinagar, Pauri Garhwal District. It is located at an altitude of 1000 m. The place derives its name from the king of Kangra named Deval. The Laxmi Narayan Temple, Gaura Devi Temple and Rajrajeshwari Temple, which were built in the 13th century are the main attractions. The rare edicts make this place important from the archeological point of view. Nearby attractions are Srinagar, Dhar Devi Temple, Khirsu and Pauri.

The nearest airport is Jolly Grant (141 km). Rishikesh Railway Station (124 km) is the nearest railhead. By road, the city is well connected with Srinagar.
