Chham

Chham, a major town in Tehri Garhwal District, Uttaranchal is situated on the state highway connecting New Tehri and Dunda in Uttarkashi District. Maindkhal, Dewalsari, Nagun and Hadiari are located nearby. Bhagirathi River, an important tributary of the River Ganges, flows near this town. New Tehri and Pratap Nagar are the nearest major towns. Chham can be accessed by regular bus services from Chamba and New Tehri. Jolly Grant Airport serves this area. Nearest railway station is at Dehradun.
