Baramwari




Baramwari is a small village in Rudraprayag District of Uttaranchal. It is situated on the state highway connecting Tilwara and Guptakashi. Damar, Bhatwari, Kyunja, Giriyagaon and Dogalbitta Chatti are situated nearby. Rudraprayag is the nearest major town.

Mandakini River, an important tributary of the River Ganges, flows close to this village. Ukhimath, a major Hindu pilgrim site famous as the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath, is easily accessible from here.

Baramwari well connected by road with Rudraprayag and Ukhimath. Rishikesh Railway Stationis the nearest major railway station. Jolly Grant Airport serves this area.
