Bamani Dhaur

Kundalinisen Plateau

Bamani Dhaur, also called Kundalinisen, is a long meadow on the opposite bank of the Pushpawati River, situated close to the Valley of Flowers in Chamoli District. Legend associates this place with a Brahmin who lived here telling visitors their fortunes and drawing-their horoscopes. He did this by observing the shadow that appeared on this long meadow. Then this place came to be known as Kundalinisen, the meadow of horoscopes.
