Varsana




Varsana lies 42 km away from Mathura. There are four peaks, which comprise Maan Garh, Mor Kuti, Vilas Garh, and Dan Garh. Larily Lal temple on the top of the hill is the main temple here. According to legend, Lord Brahma incarnated himself as these hills for Radha and Lord Krishna and these hills represent his four heads.

Holi is the main festival celebrated in this area and other festivals include Radhastami and the burhi-lila performances.
