Khurasa




Khurasa, a medieval township 10 km from Gonda, holds a prominent place in the history of Gonda District. It was the erstwhile capital of Kalhans clan of Gujarat which was established by Sahaj Sigh in this district.

Razgarh, a place associated with Raja Devi Baksh Singh, the last Raja of Gonda and hero of 1857, is the major attraction nearby. An old temple is located here.

Khurasa is about 14 km from Tarabganj and 21 km from Dhanepur. Motiganj Railway Station and Amausi Airport are the nearest access points.
