Sakhi Giri Parvat

Situated near Uchagrama, Sakhi Giri Parvat is a small hill in Mathura District. Devotees consider this hill a sacred place as it is related to Lord Krishna.

Folklore has it that the intimate friends of Krishna including Lalita Devi, Vishakha, Campakalta and Chitra used to play here. The hill bears the foot prints believed to be that of gopis, Krishna's cowherd girl friends. Dauji Temple and Lalita Krishna Temple are located nearby.
