Mariahan, a rural area characterised by wasteland and hills, is in Mirzapur District. The area is quite undeveloped and falls under the Mariahan taluk. The district headquarters, Mirzapur lies to the north of it. It is around 18 km from Saktesgarh and 20 km from Rajgarh.
Ashrams dedicated to Swamy Adgadanand and Lord Krishna are the two important spiritual centers worth visiting inside the town.
