Nandagram Temple




Nandagram Temple is situated on the top of Nandisvara Hill in Nandgaon of Mathura District. The principal deity of this temple is Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Apart from the black marble deity of Krishna, the temple houses the idol of Lord Balram. The idols of Lord Krishna and Balram are holding flutes and are in standing posture. They are flanked by two tall deities of Yasoda and Nanda. Besides, the temple has idols of Sudama and Madhumangala, the two friends of Krishna. Narasimhadeva Temple is located nearby.
