Sandila




Sandila is a charming town in Hardoi District of Uttar Pradesh. It is located about 50 km south of Hardoi and is 55 km north-west of the state capital, Lucknow.

Sandila derives its name after Rishi Sandilya, who once colonized this place. Many old buildings, mosque and barakhamba add to the charm of the town. Hatyaharan Pilgrim is another spot worth visiting in Sandila.

Nearest airport is at Lucknow. Sandila Railway Station is situated on the Lucknow-Delhi line of Northern Railways.
