Mahson is a small town situated about 10 km from
Basti, in
Basti District. It lies 17 km south of
Walterganj and 16 km north of Kalwari.
Rajmahal Mahson, a two-storied heritage building of around 70 years old, is the prime attraction in Mahson. Other attraction in its neighborhood is the large lake of Chando Tal.
