This temple is located in Kushinagar District in Uttar Pradesh. It stands on the same base as the main Nirvana Stupa behind it. The Nirvana statue of Lord Buddha represents the dying Buddha, reclining on his right side, with his face towards the west. It is about 6 m long and is made of monolith red-sand stone.
