Ladoo is an Indian sweetmeat made with a rich mixture of gram flour, sugar, butter ghee, dusted with pistachio nuts, and almonds. This sweet is made with deep-fried besan beads, sugar syrup, ghee roasted cashew nuts, raisins, and various flavorings and then formed into ball shaped sweets. On the occasion of festivals and celebrations, ladoo is an indispensable ingredient. Ladoo is ideal to prepare for Vinayaka Chaturthi, as this is one of the favorite sweets of Lord Ganesh.
