Sheetla Mata Temple

Sheetla Mata Temple is situated on the banks of Ganges at Kara. It is one among the 51 shaktipeeths.

It is said that by worshipping Goddess Sheetla on the ashtami of Krishnapaksha in the month of chetra one can get rid of evil powers.
