National Highway 56




National Highway 56 connects the administrative nerve center of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, with the holy city of Varanasi. This 285 km-long road spans across the districts of Rae Bareilly, Sultanpur, Jaunpur and Varanasi and touches some major cities and towns on the way.

National Highway 56 starts at Lucknow and runs south-east through Haidargarh, Jagdishpur, Sultanpur and Jaunpur, before terminating at Varanasi.
