Gorakhgiri Hill




Gorakhgiri Hill is a charming picnic spot located in Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh.

The place, noted for the awesome sight of huge granite rocks perched on top of one another, is famous as the place where Guru Gorakhnath resided with his disciple Sidho Dipak Nath. The carved black granite statue of Lord Shiva, in dancing pose, is also worth a visit. The spot is ideal for picnics and climbing trails.

The nearest airport is at Khajuraho, 63 km from Mahoba. The nearest city is Mahoba, which has regular bus services to Chitrakut (125 km), Kanpur (155 km), Jhansi (165 km), Banda (52 km) and Kalinjar (130 km).
