Gola

Gola, also called Gola Bazar, Madaria and Gola Gopalganj or the grain market of Gopalpur, is a charming town situated on the banks of river Ghaghra, in Uttar Pradesh. It is located 61 km south of Gorakhpur and 35 km south of Bansgaon.

Bhikhiganj, Ruihata, Baramthan, Daldahi and Anjaiganj are some major places in Gola. Kartik Purnima and Magha Amavasya are two major events held here amid much pomp and splendor.

Varanasi Airport and Amausi Airport serves Gola. Nearest major ralhead is at Gorakhpur.
