Jatipura




Jatipura is a small village situated on the way to Govardhan Hill, in Mathura District, Uttar Pradesh. It is located 20 km west of the district headquarters, Mathura.

Places of tourist interest include Shri Mahaprabhuji's Samadhi, Mukharvind, Shai Temple at Gantholi, the pilgrim spot of Govardhan Hills and Radha Kund. The cenotaph of Raja Suraj Mal Bharatpur, situated midway between Govardhan and Radhakund, is another spot worth visiting. It features an artificial lake in the front and an extensive garden in the rear and serves as an ideal place to rest and relax.

Nearest airport is at Agra. Mathura Junction Railway Station serves Jatipura.
