Daurala




Daurala, a prominent industrial town in Meerut District, is situated 15 km from Meerut and 90 km from Delhi, on the Delhi-Dehradun national highway. The town, surrounded by sugarcane and rice fields, is known for its industry Daurala Sugar Works, which was established in the pre-independence era in the year 1932.

Sardhana, famous for the Basilica of Our Lady of Graces and the palace of Begum Samru, is about 8 km from here.

Being a commercial hub, Daurala is well connected by road and rail. There are frequent buses available to and fro between Daurala and Meerut and Daurala and Sardhana. Daurala Railway Station and Indira Gandhi International Airport serve the town. Accommodation facilities are available at Meerut.
