Ramghat




Ramghat is located on the banks of the river Mandakini in Chitrakoot of Satna District. It is an important pilgrim spot. Beside the ghat, there are many ashrams where holy men in saffron dresses meditate and offer the solace of their wisdom to the large number of pilgrims who congregate there.

The nearby attractions include Sphatik Shila and Janaki Kund.

Chitrakoot is situated about 128 km from the southwest of Allahabad. There are regular buses which connect it with other nearby cities and towns. The nearest railhead and airport are at Satna and Khajuraho.
