Chauburji Darwaza

Chauburji Darwaza is a gateway that leads to the Kalinjar Fort in Kalinjar, a fortress city in Banda District of Uttar Pradesh. It is a double gate with four towers. Since it holds four towers, the gate is known by the name Chauburji Darwaza (gate of the four towers). Several pilgrim records and inscriptions of various eras are seen at this entrance.

Kalinjar is about 62 km from Banda and 78 km from Chitrakut. The nearest railhead is Atarra Railway Station on the Banda-Satna route, 36 km away.
