The Holy Land of Sufis and Saints



Budaun District in Uttar Pradesh, spread over an area of 4,168 sq km. It is situated near the holy river Ganges. The earlier name was 'Boda Mayoota'. The population is around 3 million. Budaun has been blessed by many Sufis and saints. Budaun is the district headquarters.

Budaun receives an average rainfall of 86 cm and the temperatures range from 45°C in summer to a minimum of 5°C in winter.
