Dayal Bagh




Dayal Bagh, popularly known as Soami Bagh, is a sacred place located at 15 km from Agra. This place is famous as the headquarters of the Radhasoami religious sect. The Dayal Bagh Temple here draws a large number of devotees. Believed to have been built in 1861, this temple is a magnificent structure 110 ft high. Some people consider this building as an alternative to the great Taj Mahal. Dayal Bagh Educational Institute is the major institution here. Accommodation facilities are available with standard amenities. The major tourist attractions of Agra are easily accessible from here. Agra City Railway Station is the nearest railhead (15 km).
